We completed a condensation and damp assessment survey on this new build property which had been occupied for approximately 2 months.

The building owner was concerned by the presence of condensation and mould growth in localised areas, within the property.

We accordingly took surface temperature readings around the building, assessed the provision and location of insulation and ventilation to the living areas and within the loft space.

This enabled us to make recommendations for improvements to insulation provision, ongoing monitoring of the roof space to ensure existing ventilation is adequate and that costly future repairs are avoided, with more general advice on how to reduce and manage condensation within the living space.
